Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Chestnut Barrow terrorized the country between 1931 and 1934. The two were known as notorious bank robbers but in reality they preferred robbing small country stores and gas stations. Apparently it was an easier way to steal than dealing with a big bank. The two killed 9 police officers and several civilians in their effort to escape the law.
